In 2011, Open Doors is inviting you to a very special event:
During the afternoon, two guest speakers will describe the challenge and perspectives in two hot points of the globe: Egypt and Pakistan.
The evening will be a very special celebration. For the very first time, the whole world, or almost, will be united for a unique and multicultural Praise Concert in Suisse romande!

Georges Michael is married with two children. As Elder of a very big Church in Cairo, he is sharing his vision on the current situation and the future of the Church in Egypt.

Azad Marshall is an Anglican Bishop in Pakistan. In addition to growing pressures from the Taliban, the Pakistani Church also faces the rebuild after the 2010 floods, the greatest natural disaster which ever happenend in its history.

Multi-Cultural Praise Concert

 Musalaha, a group of Palestinian Christians and Messianic Jews. Songs in English, Arabic and Hebrew.

 Helen Berhane, from Eritrea.
Detained during two and a half years in a prison camp, she never stopped singing! She comes back after a wonderful tour in 2010. Songs in English and Tigrinya.

 Choir «Grace», from the African Church in Plan-les-Ouates GE.
Their Negro-Spirituals are a real blessing.

 Jurassic Praise Band
This group is leading every month the worship meeting in Reconvilier. Their presence in the 2010 "Day of Christ" in Bern was much appreciated.

Specific program for kids (2-12 years) from 15.00 to 18.00.
During the evening a room is available for children.
Other
A booktable and other things e.g. food and refreshments will be available.
Mrs Helen Berhane will also sign her book during the day.
